The weather was picture perfect for our 11th Annual Ride Like an Animal Motorcycle Run & Car Show which raised an astounding $17,000! 164 bikes and 197 riders came out on Saturday, September 7th in support of local, homeless animals that call TJO their temporary home. Riders were treated to a scenic ride through western Massachusetts, led by Ride Captain, Jason Moyer. Our guests enjoyed the after party at the Ludlow Elks Lodge with food, music by Tough Customer, and amazing raffles!
Twenty-four spectacular cars were shown! The top 3 People’s Choice awards went to: 3rd Place – 1906 Cadillac Runabout owned by the Barosa family; 2nd Place – 1980 Chevy Malibu owned by Bobby Wilson; 1st Place – 1954 Chevy Pickup shown by Kaila Plumb. Congratulations to all!!
Special thanks to Pat Kelly of Lazer 99.3/98.5. He is a true friend of the Foundation for TJO Animals and went the extra mile to promote our event and made the morning so much fun! Thank you to Gerry Geffrion from GG Inks for his generous donation of our event t-shirts. Thank you to Dee Reilly for her beautiful rendition of our National Anthem. Thank you to Tough Customer, who totally rocked the after party! A huge thank you to all the volunteers who kept the event running smoothly. Thank you to the staff at the Ludlow Elks for their hospitality. We would like to give a special shout out to Kevin Cislak for donating back his 50/50 raffle winnings!
